CashUp Rewards Guide

Tasks define minimum order value requirement that the customer has to complete and the reward they will get.

After a task is completed, the customer is given a new task instantly, which ensures they will always get rewarded.

Only activated tasks can be completed, and they will not show up as active in the launcher. Reward for a completed task can be claimed even if the task itself is deactivated.

You can activate/deactivate the task from by clicking "edit" and "activate" or "deactivate" at the top right in the task edit page. You will also be prompted to activate a task during setup.

If you wish to disable the extension altogether, disable the task and disable the app embed in your theme settings.

Note: disabling app embed only, does NOT disable the task too.

Each task can have several tiers, which incentivize customers to make larger orders even if they've already completed the initial order value requirement. This ensures that customers are always pushed to spend just a little bit more.

Each tier can have a different set of rewards and/or different chances for the same rewards. To have the most success, offer better rewards at higher tiers.

Note: tier requirements use your store's default currency.

Rewards are configured per-tier. Each reward can have a different chance of showing up when the reward for a task is claimed.

The user doesn't know what reward they will get until they've claimed it. Variable rate, random rewards are proven to be addictive, which can help increase the LTV of the customer.

All rewards' chances currently must amount to 100% with at least some reward always being rewarded.

The rewards are regular discount codes that are automatically generated when the reward is claimed.

There are currently 4 types of discounts you can give as rewards:

• Fixed amount off
• Percentage amount off
• Free product
• Free shipping

Launcher is an app embed. Activate it by going to:

1. Online store
2. Customize (active theme)
3. App embeds icon (3rd on the very left)
4. Find "CashUp Rewards - Launcher"
5. Toggle it on
6. Save (top right corner)

Launcher shows up as a button at the bottom right (by default) and will prompt non-logged in users to create an account. Once logged in the user will be able to receive/claim rewards and see any past rewards they received.
